Bu hafta yarım kalmış bir sayfa var burada. Boş beyaz yüzeye dokunalı aylar olmuştur eminim. Amaç bir oturuşta sayfayı bitirmek değil. İhtiyaç duydukça içimden geçenleri bu deftere boşaltmak. Renklerle neşelenmek.Söyleyeceklerimi söylemek ya da çizmek ya da boyamak. Küçük "s" ile sanat anlayacağınız. Çok sevgili hocam Ali Cengizkan hem mimar hem de şairdir. Demiş ki "Şiir hem bir yılda, hem de bir saniyede yazılabilir. En önemlisi, bu iki süreci eşzamanlı kılabilmektir". Sanırım bu sanatın tamamı için geçerli.
O zaman soruyorum size, İzmir'in neyi?

This week there is a semi finished page here. I am sure it has been months since i have first touched the blank white page. My aim is not to finish the page in one go. I aim to spill how i feel into this art journal. Raise my spirits with colors. Say what i have to say or draw or paint. Art with a small "a" as you might guess. My dear professor Ali Cengizkan is an architect and a poet. He said "The poem may be written in a year or a second. The most important thing is to synchronize these two processes". I guess this is valid for all kinds or art.
So i ask you, İzmir's what? (İzmir is the city i live in Turkey)
